Hello From York County PA

Greetings all. I was turned on to this site by Mercop, a member. Been into hammocks off and on over the years, but had no idea there was an entire subculture devoted to it.

Got an Eno Double Eagle for Father's Day and slept in it last night.

Anyway, great to be here and I am looking forward to learning a lot and making some new friends. Thanks all.

Welcome! I grew up doing a lot of camping on the Susquehanna, specifically the Lake Aldred and Lake Clark sections, so it's always good to see someone from back home. Too bad most of the islands in the lakes don't allow camping - would be great places to set up a hammock for a night!

Welcome to the forum. I just searched the database and it came up with 349 folks from PA! I know its not entirely correct cause some folks from sPAin are in the mix, but either way, there is a ton of hangers ready to get you comfortable and confident. Think MAHHA hang in the fall as a "must attend" event.
