has any ony tried it before?
im thinkink it would kinda go under me and protect my arms and any other part hanging off the pad.

fleece jacket would do a similar job. It works for me, at least.KM
would it make the pad slip around more, i use my sleeping bag like an oq and sleep right on the mat
For warmer temps (50* and above) suspend it under your hammock like any other under quilt. Works for me.
I'm so out of shape ......I passed gas yesterday and pulled a muscle!
Some of my freight hopping adventures on film over at my YouTube Channel... Oh and there is other stuff there as well!
i really just wanna get extra coverage on my elbows and knees, i side sleep and my elbows get cold
Man, I love those fleece blankets for 60 deg. or better with just my pad (walmart)
When it gets colder I will try it slipped inside over my pad in my 1.1 dbl.
===> I work part time for LL Bean, and just picked-up one of their fleece sleeping bags ($25) - basically a fleece blanket sewn into a bag shape with a zipper. I will try to use it with a 3/8" CCF pad, and maybe a bag liner. Since it opens-up (and two of them could easily be zipped together) using it as an UQ might just work also! Dunno until I get to try all this stuff out!
Whether I use it inside the hammock, or under it, or as a bag or top quilt, it will be accompanying me whenever I head out. Just seems to be pretty versatile, light, and has it's own set of elastic compression straps sewn on, with a carrying handle, as well. The temps drop pretty quickly in the New England/ NY mountains, and having this fleece multi-option bag I think just might be a permanent part of my gear!
