well I am looking for my first tarp to go along with my ENO doublenest. I looked into the ENO pro fly but it doesnt offer the coverage I am looking for. I came across the JRB cat tarp and i really like the look of it. Its large, a decent price, and it even showed it with closed off doors in one of the pictures on their site. anyone have experience with this tarp? would you recommend it? im new to hammock camping but JRB seems like a reliable brand.
If you mean the JRB 11 x 10 tarp, I have it, like it, recommend it. Big enough that you can crisscross one end closed against wind or rain and you don't need the addition of doors. Large enough to different configurations depending on weather.

yeah the JRB 11x10 is a really nice tarp...can't go wrong
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
I have one, and it's my favorite. It really shines in bad weather, and it has lots of hanging options such as the baker hut.
thanks for the replies. I really like the look of this tarp. when you guys ordered it did it come with guylines? also is the tarp 2 colors? or do they just have a half green half brown one shown on the site to show both colors?

As to colors, we are down to the last two cattail brown tarps until late fall, plenty of the moss green models though.

You're gonna love it. I got one a few months ago and it is my favorite for sure. You can easily fit a two hammock setup it also.
