Video: Father/Son Hike

I took my Dad out on a short hike a few weeks ago. He has been a camper all his life (got me into the outdoors) but this was his first
time "backpacking". He did great, impressed me, even pushed for the "climb the mountain" trail.

We both had a lot of fun and now he wants me to make him his own hammock. I'm tellin you guys . . . these things sell themselves!

Anyways, I put together a little video of our outting (I know how much we all love videos) and I got it ready just in time . . .

What a great video ... loved the music and way you put it together. Fantastic to hike with your dad ... wish I could still do that. Dad's out of the hiking game these days but I remember when we could. Great memories! Thanks for sharing with us.

Slopes well done, seems your dad rubbed off on you alot. I liked the vid. keep up the good times and let us know about them. I was going to ask where your dad slept, since he was wanting you to make one for him. the video cleared that up for me. lol

Trouthunter - we were climbing Bald Mountain near Shaver Lake, Western slope of the central Sierras. Beautiful area for sure.

I camped on the Chatooga River in May and was camping next to a father and his two sons that were all flyfishing. The sons were in their 40s, dad around 70. I thought that was just the greatest thing.
I loved the video. You'll cherish times like that.
