So I got a traveler from a member here, and upoun initial inspection I was pleased with the quality-price ratio. Seems very well made. I did notice the fabric doesnt have alot of stretch... but I like that so no problems there.

But it did need to go on a diet. Pictured below is simply my first idea on how to lighten it up.





It went from a OE weight of 3 pounds, 7.8 ounces to 2 pounds, 6.9 ounces. You still need to factor in the weight of your webbing and clips/biners. SO add another 3-4 ounces. You could also shave another ounce or so by going with lighter rings. The ones I used weigh in at 26 grams each. Going with a descender ring would drop your ring weight by another 30 grams.

Also, In the second picture, I may re configure how I have the bug net line attached. It would be nice to get some more height on it. So I may flip it around and place the prusik on the sling right at the end of the fixed eye bury.
