volara foam for pad????

Thinking of buying a larger sheet of foam than I need.

Then cutting to a size/shape that suits me. Not looking for great insulation value, but for a bit of rigidity (will use between layers of a double bottom hammock) and for wind resistance.

Would something like the 1/8 - 3/16 - 1/4" volara be a good option?

Guess I'll have to answer my own question.
I ordered the pad and will try it out when it arrives.
