I am using them with the stock Hennessy rope. That is, if am not incorrect a double braid rope. The cleats appeared to work very well over five days. And I am a hefty guy, weighing in at 230lbs. I suffered no failures over 5 nights. A little short, I admit for it to be authoritative, but after inspection of the cleats there are no visible signs of fatigue.

Yes, most HH stock ropes are double braid. The cleats should work just fine.

Here's some pictures and info I posted in another thread.

HC4U, that is pretty much how I set it up, but with a carabiner through the tree strap, and then the line fed through the carabiner.

Could one assume that since these are being made expressly for Hammocks are the weight loads quoted for hammock load and not rope load?

Since lower angle loads on ropes increases stress on the ropes.

The load ratings listed are derived from when the rope either slips or comes loose from the cleat.

These cleats have been around for a while and are not geared specifically toward hammocks. The people at CC said one of their customers contacted them and said they had been using the cleats with a hammock and that was when they started doing some tests on their end.
