    Thanks, but I already have a copy on my desktop. My pack is the main offender on weight, but I need it to help carry gear for my kids, plus that weight I listed includes all of my heaviest items like a Superfly VS a Maccat Deluxe, etc. All those little onces add up, don't they!

    For summer months I use the Thermarest tech blanket. Has worked well for me down here in the southeaest.

    Yea my pack is 3lbs+ too Salty. Hey don't forget to pay those kids back when they get older, then its their turn to carry your stuff! Im sure you have lots of luxuries you will want to add back into your pack weight then.
