    Exactly! Inquiring minds and all.

    Think B&B not trail for a romantic get away with a camping newb. Camping newb and romantic get away just seems like a prescription for disaster IMHO. Maybe get her set up and used to camping before attempting to go romantic on a trail. That is if the idea is to introduce her to backpacking in a way that helps her to enjoy the outing enough to want to do it again.

    Frankly the bride of my youth and I have found romance on the trail and in the outdoors generally but it was not planned. More of a moment in time kind of thing...if you catch my drift. Take her on the trail and make it as easy and pleasant as possible. See what happens from there.
