CLOSED: Cleaning Out the Gear Closet...again...

Items do not include shipping - I'll look online for the estimated shipping to your location and use that. If you buy more than one thing I'll combine the shipping.

PayPal works best but if all you can do is a check I'll ship when it clears. Money Orders ok, too.

Post here what you want and if you'd like to use PayPal or snail mail...I'll PM you with details.

Patagonia Micropuff Vest. - $75. NEW WITH TAGS. Men's Large, never worn other than trying it on...vests just aren't my thing. Black color. Zippered hand pockets and inside chest pocket, drawstring waist. Great piece of gear, just not my style. MSRP on tag is $125.

Blackhawk Hellstorm Balaclava - $10. Made from Nomex (fire resistant material that flight suits are made from). Used a few times. Doesn't have a size...probably large.

Silkweight Thermals - $15/set. 100% polyester pants and shirt, silkweight, size large. I have three sets, plus one extra pair of pants for $7. Get everything for $40.

Red Ledge Kid's Waterproof/Breathable Rain Pants, size small - $15 I think it's the Thunderlight series. Elastic waist with shockcord drawstring and cordlock, zippered rear pocket. They fit my son from ~5-7 years old. Excellent condition.

Camo Ecotat poncho/bivy - $50 This is part of the Aircrew Survival System. It's basically a more advanced military issue poncho with zippers all around to use it as a bivy, velcro patches, shockcord on the ends, etc. Drawstring hood. Camo stuff sack included. It's thicker and tougher than normal issue ponchos. Measures 76"x96" (that's a 10.2' diagonal), weighs 36 oz including stuff sack.

Camoflauge netting - $5. It's about 5'x8' with ~1/8" holes...not noseeum. It hung on Joker's wall for a while but was never used in the field. Excellent condition.

Stay tuned...I might post a few more things if I can bring myself to part with them...

    Sold to ExPXGuy:
JRB Bear Mountain Bridge Hammock (BMBH) - $75. Comes with hammock, aluminum spreader bars, all original webbing attached (no mods), velcro bug net, and removable velcro pocket. Great condition...I got it used for my wife to try, but it doesn't suit either of us.

    Sold to The Saint:
Warbonnet El Dorado - $100. Custom one of a kind...NEVER USED. Brandon doesn't make El Dorados anymore. This is a 1.1 oz olive green El Dorado with a black stuffsack attached. Comes with support lines and ridgeline, with drawstring bag attached...when the hammock is hung, you can only get to the bag from inside. Sometimes I still take my other El Dorado instead of the Blackbird b/c I like it so much. Cannibal does, too...how's that for a celebrity endorsement? I got this one for my son but he just uses the other ones.

    Sold to pgibson:
Sierra Designs Windbreaker - $5. Kid's size small, burnt orange color. Ripstop nylon, not a rainjacket.
Sierra Designs Windbreaker - $5. Kid's size large, burnt orange color. Ripstop nylon, not a rainjacket.

    Sold to WV:
REI Convertible Mittens - $10. These are polyester fleece mittens that fold back into fingerless gloves. They're REI brand, similar to these but REI doesn't have them on the site right now. Color black, unisex, size M. Excellent condition...only wore them a few times.

What does the El Dorado look like?

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

I think Cannibal has some pictures in his gallery if I remember correctly.

Thanks pal I saw links in his review of it but they were dead links. Must have moved them.

Here are some pics of the El Dorado. It's kinda like a Hennessy, but with a zipper on the side instead of the bottom entry. And more comfortable.

These are the green one that I use, and not the OD one for sale. Same model, different material.

I gotta run real quick but I'll get back to everyone on the purchases when I get back. Honey-do list and all that...she's glaring at me right now to get off the couch so we can go to Home Depot. What are the chances I bring back something I can camp with?

The elderado was hard to pass up. I thought that would be the first to go. That should be in a hammock museum under glass in a vacuum.
