    Knot Bone STL?

Question about a couple of photos I viewed on this forum. There was a Niteize Knot Bone with what I think is a loop of Shock cord and a loop of standard cord. I'm very much a "Noob". What is this used for? Thanks.

I've seen one recently used to tension a tarp line using a Knot Bone and shock cord. It's on the forum somewhere.

I think someone worked the knot bone into a guy line but I cant remember who.

It could have been me being silly trying to figure out where to use the knot bone. They dont work all that well when you have to pull something tight prior to locking it. Especially if its not at the end of a piece of line.
