To Pillow or Not?

I can't sleep without a pillow and my girlfriend sewed one for me. To keep it from shifting too much in the hammock, I tied some bungee cord to it and attached a small biner on the other end that I attach to the ridgeline. I'm pretty sure that idea came from Shug via Happy Camper.

Paul at Arrowhead Equipment makes some fine pillows if you want to look into one of the local cottage industries here on Hammock Forums. He's good people.

I highly recommend Pauls pillows. I have the large down and it is wonderful.

I use a pillow in the hammock, but not under my head - I put it under my neck. .....

Pillow in the hammock is a must for me. Using some balled up clothing from my pack is never enough.

Funny this thread is here. I hung in my basement last night with a house pillow and my neck is sore. Fleece shirt for me.

In summer I was fine without a pillow, winter here though I use a small camping one to stop my head getting cold, seems to work
