    WTB: Blackbird Double Layer 1.7oz

Wanting to get into Hammocking and looks like with my weight 265# my only option is the Blackbird Double Layer 1.7oz Hammock. I've already got a custom tarp being made for me as we speak.

That said, everyone knows the manufacture is not producing them right now and I'd like to get into this before the end of summer in hopes to continue on with it during the winter (we'll see). In any case, I need a hammock and if you want to get rid of one, let me know.

    I'm looking!

    Thanks.

    -Jason K.

I got my first WBBB two weeks ago. It's the double layer 1.7oz in olive. Works fine for me and I am 6'-3" @280lbs. I was using a Clark North American that I purchased a few years ago, but got tired of sleeping like a banana. So the WBBB is very welcome to help
    me sleep better.

Check the WBBB website. Brandon was making this hammock two weeks ago and took orders the beginning of June. He is very responsive to email questions.

    Odd, I was turned off because the WB site states;

And it shows everything is out of stock. So I didn't even attempt to bother the man if he wasn't taking orders (according to website)

Well, I'm willing to buy one new for the asking price -- lets put it that way. I'm open for options otherwise.

If you have one you are considering selling, shoot me a PM and we can work on it in private.

    Wtb: Bb Dl 1.7

After Destortedaxis finds a seller, I'd like to be in line for the next available BB DL 1.7. My son has an HH. We're headed to BWCA in August and it doesn't look like Jordan will be able to send one in time. I'm also looking for the Superfly and Door kit.

I am 6' 2", 185 lbs, and sleep on my right side. I would appreciate your advice before purchasing.

    Thanks!

You'd be fine in 1.1 dbl layer WBBB, IMO. I'm 6'5", 225 lbs and am very happy with my WBBB (1.1 dbl layer).

    Jason,
I'm a big guy, 6'0" 287#. There are three hammocks on my wish-list for hammock camping. All three would be excellent choices:
Warbonnets Blackbird which you're already aware of..
    Claytor's Jungle Hammock - http://www.mosquitohammock.com/
    Tree to Tree's Switchback - http://stores.tttrailgear.com/-strse...ear/Detail.bok

That said. The WBBB is the one I've decided to use first.

I have a 1.1 Dbl Layer WBBB that I am looking to part with as it is not of use to me anymore. It has only been used twice and is in excellent condition. Let me know if anyone is interested.
