    I have heard of ENO hammocks being damaged (pinholes) from cinching the hammock down with the straps and the rough edges of the carabiners pushing into the fabric. As many others have said, lose the biners and you'll be fine.

    I replaced the ENo biners with climbing biners....

    ...and store them outside the bag clipped to the compression strap.

    I keep my Eno in a Bishop sack and changed out the ends to Amsteel, webbing straps, cinch buckles and Dutch clips.

    Yes I could back it down into a smaller sack but I don't see the need at this point in time
    I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

    I cut the compression straps off and swap out the suspension with amsteel. Works great.
