    Brian in So Cal

Hi, My name is Brian and I have been looking for info on using my hammock and found this great site. I have an ENO double nest and slap strap pro. Purchased it at Stagecoach Music festival in Indio so I could sleep.

I am looking forward to all the great info here and will be replacing my Slap straps as soon as possible.

    Glad to be here!!

Hi Brian! Welcome to HF! There's tons of info here. Lots of folks have replaced the slap straps to good effect.

I like the feel of an ENO hammock! I see you've already learned about the stretching nylon slap straps

Welcome to HF. I have ENO DN and I have already changed out the stock suspension with Cinch Buckles w/long loop and Polyester Straps from Arrowhead Equipment. Simplest mod you can so. Makes it much easier to hang. Links listed below:

I hope this info helps you out with the suspension upgrades you have in mind..............

Welcome Brian ~ I am in So Cal too. When I hike it's usually in the San Gabriel River section of the Angeles. You're out near Castaic, I see, and the Western Angeles forest... Feel free to let me know if you're in my area, I'll do the same.

Welcome to HF! If you are into DIY definitely make a pair of Whoopie Slings for your hammock, they work great.
