Yeah, you're definitely making me envious, Chris.
I'm on diaper duty and you're out doing all of my favorite things.
Have fun. And stay safe.

Great trip, I hope to do one like it one day. Thanks for sharing.

Saw some guy that looks just like you over on Motocampers. Good on ya for spreading the word about hammocking & HF.

I saw some ancient petroglyphs on Maui, near Lahaina, and they were amazing. We're going to the Big Island this January, and there are lots more there that I'm itching to explore. Unfortunately people have taken it upon themselves to modernize them by adding....... extra appendages onto some of them. Really sad. The ones you had pictured were in excellent condition. Great update.
Those who expect disappointment are never disappointed.
Can't wait to see more pics. Love the hammock set up, the bike (didn't they stop making it in yellow? Oh, the humanity!) and the Dodge flat fender.
Since I have never owned a moto before I was considering getting a Ural with the side car. Nowhere near as nice as the BMW but a lot more storage space!
Urals are pretty cool. Lot's of information here:

Sidecar rigs are fun, but they require a very different skill set than motorcycles. Very few motorcycling skills translate to operating a hack.
Urals are cool rigs. Here's mine, a 1997 Deco Classic 650, on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Plan to talk to lots of strangers if you get a Ural.
I need to upload more photos from this trip that i'm on and catch up this trip report.

Chris, that is one cool hack! That is about the only way I would ride on 3 wheels (no trikes for me TYVM). Can you PM me additional info on it?
G'night Chris
Tom
