    Here's my current set-up:

    head-end close-up:

    attachment through the ENO channel:

    foot-end overview:

the only difference between the head and foot ends is that i currently have a 'whoopie' SRL, so the fixed eye is larks-headed through the ring on the foot end and the adjustable end is attached to the head end with a soft shackle.

my tree straps (not shown) are 1/2" electric company 'mule tape.' i have no idea what the stuff is made of, but it's 2000 lb test, doesn't stretch appreciably at these loads, and i have probably 500 feet of the stuff on a spool in my father in law's barn. attachment to the tree straps is marlinspike & toggle.

i have black amsteel on order. i didn't realize that 'amsteel blue' came in colors other than blue when i first ordered. i guess i'll be selling these suspension components or passing them down to another hammock.

    Current ENO set-up:

Replaced stock rope and biners with an amsteel continuous loop and DUTCH biners [thanks dutch]
    Adjustable Structural Ridgeline added
Removed the compression strap from the sack [but kept the sack on, I kinda like it]

At sea, I learned how little a person needs, not how much.

    A good Home ???

I would be willing to give your suspension a good home for my grand trunk traveler. I have been wanting to upgrade it for my wife on our day hikes.

Thanks so much for the pictures! Loved them.

If so how much would you like for some of that 1/2 webbing? Maybe 22 altogether. two 11 foot sections?

    ENO Bishop Bag Mod

Hopefully no one will mind this thread being bumped. Here are some shots of my bishop bag mod:

The corner hole is reinforced with a piece of strap webbing:

I did the same thing only not as fancy. I just snipped a hole in the corner, used a lighter to touch up the fraying and put a few stitches so the seams wouldn't open up.

Haven't uploaded my pics yet but just started Modding my dn. Changed the suspension to whoopies and toggles and trimmed off the excess material in the sides. By doing this I trimmed off a pound. Next project is sewing my guardian to the hammock itself

Yeah, that was my first thought, but I was not sure how well the taffeta would singe with a lighter, I figured if I did the sew route it would be reversible should something go wrong or if I decided I didn't like it.
