    1st under quilt project

    1st attempt at sewing, ever.
Functionaly it turned out great, fit and finish is "OK" for a 1st sewing project.
1.1 ripstop, 3.7 Climasheild combat, perimeter sewn, 1.5" grossgrain tubes all around, I see no need for the shock cord in the end tunnels, everything looks snug.
This looks way beter than Strung2Tight's

I always maintain that unless you want to manufacture commercially the functional result is the only result that really matters. Looks come with practice and are nothing but gravy. Great job.

edit: There are only two kinds of people who are going to look critically at DIY stitches.

    1) Those who are jealous of the accomplishment but afraid to try it themselves.

    2) Those who are good enough to help you improve just by looking... and do.

The first aren't worth listening to. The second are the best resources you can have.

I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Really nice. I especially like the channel gap for your tie-out. Smart.

    Gonna share dimensions?
