Garage sale score, just paid for itself

Found a White sewing machine at a garage sale couple of weeks ago $20. Thanks to Ramblinrev's Vid's and Just Jeff's Page, it payed for it's self on first couple of projects today. Gear Hammock and Snake Skins, still have enough material for a couple of Stuff sacks. Thanks for the help.

Congrats on the DIY projects. That is a nice looking gear hammock you made for yourself. It should serve you well.

very nice!!! Looks like even though this is a new-to-you thread injector, it isn't your first sewing project... nice work!

So how/where will you pitch your gear hammock? Will it be part of your hammock/tarp rig? is this separate?

sounds like it would be useful...

Like Just Jeff's idea, it's multi-use Chair, Pack cover, Gear Hammock. Plan to rig it under the WB so I can dig in it without having to get up(Guy Thing). I liked to cook coffee and snacks without getting up in the Am. Went with Ripstop from Joan's (50% off) so it;s not silnylon, but practical. As far as Sewing Experience, I grew up with five sisters, Kinda pick up some things, but liked Ramblinrev's Vids.

Gnome77, that is an awesome looking gear hammock. Love it. And this:
