The dates are for Friday thru Sunday. Frid, Sept 17. Sat, Sept. 18. & Sun. Sept. 19. From the car to the Sat. night camping spot is a little less than 3 miles. So from the Friday night campsite to Saturday night -- around 2.5 miles-ish.

I think I can make it, and would plan on doing a pre-hike starting Wed. or Thurs.
as work permits.
I'll leave this up for a few more days for comments and then start the new thread. As it stands now, the information here will be the trip.
