St. Charles Illinois Newbie: ENO and HH

Hi! I am in upper Illinois, and new to hammocking ---I own a HH Expedition that I got as a gift about three years ago and it's still in the bag. I bought an ENO Singlenest and used it along the Fox River one afternoon and got hooked (I know, I know, Slapstraps stretch LOL). I have just signed up for this great forum, and if anyone wants to do a western Chicago hang out, I can learn from you--my gear is completely stock. I have an ENO Doublenest on order. your in luck, i'm in south central wi, do alot of hanging and kayaking, you should check out the (statelinepaddlers.org) we do some good paddles, also we spend alot of time at rock cut state park, my lil bro lives in south elgin just off of randall rd, would be happy to get a small hike n hang or hang to help ya out pm me if your interested sometime, and welome to this great community with awesome mods

welcome to HF from down in Bama. Keep reading and it about time to start modding those ENO's. Check out Arrowhead Equipment for an easy suspension mod accessories. Look at the cinch buckles and straps and his other great products

Thanks for the posts, guys. I am/was active on Pnet, and will mod that ENO. Anjd for kayaknut--bro in S Elgin--whoa, right up the river from me. Maybbe we can commando hammock in a public park along the Fox River sometime. Like the one by the Elgin dam.
