It should work very well. If by some fluke due to saturated ground you have any problems, PM me and I'll explain how to place a collar around the foundations. An architect came up with it after his light pole base design failed and several poles at the car dealership we built leaned after a storm. They've held for over 30 years now.

Absolutely, and thanks for the offer. I'm paranoid that these things might start leaning and that gives me some comfort that there is a fix. Each pole has ~3.33 80# bags of cement and four 24" rebate pins in it so I hope that is enough.
