I should be getting mine in the next couple of days (that's why you are shipping two to Mindwalk Mac). I'm jealous and excited.

I offered Knotty a complimentary Asym IX UQ for loaning me his CCF pad... but then I discontinued the model before I made one for him!
Maybe I should make him a 3/4 IX UQ.

Just got mine and can't wait to try it out.
Now we got such hot weather.
Can I wish for a cold snap in July?
You jealous, Knotty?

Thunderstorm & cold front. Temps were somewhere in the lower 70*F. Until a thunderstorm blew in dumping a load of rain and dropping the temp ~10*F. Pulled the MacIX3/4 back tight under me and went from cold backside to toasty warm.
Not sure what my personal lower temp threshold is for the MacIX3/4. Coldest night has only dropped to the mid-50*F. My only issue with the uq is at the borderline upper temp threshold. For me that is the upper 60*F on a calm, not too humid night. Too warm, but without a uq I'm bottom side cold. Solution was a suspension mod allowing venting/displacing the uq. Strongly recommend this uq if looking for a no fuss, light, relatively compact , relatively inexpensive "summer" uq.

Thanks, Noel!
Wait until you try it in the winter, with an insert!

Mac, just checking -- is my IX UQ the 3/4? It is wider, certainly.
In one of my backyard tests, the wind kicked up somthin' fierce and was able to catch the UQ at the head section and wind got inside. I wondered about adding shock cord to the head/foot section if that would help cinch those areas up?
On my latest trip, I was very pleased with my IX UQ and realized from a previous post I made that I need to weigh the thing. It's light, to be sure, but I want to get in a proper review. The low temp was in the upper 60s in the canyon and I slept warm-to-hot with a little sweat beading up.
Mac, what's the link to your IX line of gear?
