    Cheapo, but GOOD!, Pot Cozy

Quick pick of a pot coxy I made for my Snow Peak 900 pot, out of some free insulation the was given me by Niloc at the Ne/ New York hang a week ago ...thanks, Niloc! Worked GREAT!

PS: That is a White Box alcohol stove ...also works great! (and good coffe, too!) Hehehe...

Sure looks like Reflectix. Nice that you didn't have to buy a whole role to get a cozy.

====> Yeah....Niloc had a roll of about, I think like 25 yards! He lopped-off some for me, which was WAY too much, so Chocolatier and I cut it in half and split it. I still have a bunch left, after making two cozys - one for SP 900, and the other for the GSI Minimalist pot.

    Works great, weighs nothing!

I make homemade Reflectix that might actually be better than the real thing. Inner layer is HD Al foil. Then a layer of bubble wrap, a layer of mylar, a layer of bubble wrap and a layer of standard Al foil. I stick them together with spray-on adhesive. Works extremely well.

Love that Reflectix. It is available in various sizes...
    Home Depot has 16"x25', 2'x25' and 4'x25'

    (Can you say Reflectix Bivy?)

If you're looking for small pieces, most RV supply stores will sell it by the foot. Two in my area sell 4' wide pieces for less than $4/ft. 1 foot should make a couple of small cozys.

The stuff also makes a very warm sit-pad, but it's not very durable as a sit pad.
