    Newb question about thread injectors

Just to make sure I'm clear on this: a "thread injector" is just a manlier term for "sewing machine"--not a specialized piece of gear needed to work with silnylon and other camping type materials?

Heh, yeah. It's our way of "manly-ifying" a stereotypically girlish pastime.

    Boy, oh, boy Acer,
...you are going to get into trouble for saying it is a "girlish" thing.! I just know you are, when the rest of them wakeup tommorrow and log on, and I'll bet most of them will a mouthful of coffee, that they are going to blow thru thier noses.....like Hawkeye for instance or maybe Ken, or maybe...well...you get the idea dude.

I had to search to find out the same thing... I'm sitting here thinking "great, there's some alternative to using a sewing machine".

Nothing gets Acer in trouble. He hangs under a teflon tarp, so to speak!

How about "flexible materials joint sealer"...henceforth known (in the time honored masculine method of abbreviation--I mean, who has time for all those syllables??) as a Flex Jointer?

    I use a sewing machine

    Funny thing - Me thinks:

Thread Injector sounds like a very Falic description
that a fellow might use when he has doubt issues about his manhood.
    Freudianly speaking . . .

I have used sewing machines for years , to make shirts pants, Texas Long Coats

    Nothin' girly about that coat

I have also made MC Jackets

    But a nick-name for a machine is OK 2
