Thanks for the report. I was up there at the same time and was sweating like a horse, I still was very comfortable in my WB, those butterflies were everywhere. I'm going back up in sept when its cooler.

    Yeah,
try to get her to give it another go when the weather is cooler and/or go with a different quilt. I hadn't notice that she was a ginger until Hawkeye mentioned it and I had to go back and look more closely at the pics. Oh well, you just might have to put up with the flack that she might give you, but it will be worth it. BTW-that drinking water looked absolutely sick dude, remember to take some food dye or something next time...eyuuuuh!

Thankee for the pics and trip report...and if you do decide to sell that Warbonnet hammock and bugnetnetting be sure to give me a PM first before posting it to sell on the open market. I have the same hammock and I am looking for another one for sure. Bugnetting in the summer and open hammock the rest of the year.

    Happy trails,

    BTW-Hooplehead,
I wuv your avatar, what species of monkey is that. And your user name is great also. I read your personal data and you seem to be just the type of guy that should do some trail walking with others that live in MN hint, hint (he lives in Roseville).

Welcome to the forums and keep the good stuff coming.

    Hey Cuffs,
nobody has any problems with redheads...it just seems that they have no problems with telling others that they have a problem with them.

Now just remember that that is a good thingee......please?

If that was my wife, I would always sleep in a tent.

You folks are way too funny! I've been showing my wife all the responses and she can't stop laughing. On a good note, she has agreed to try the hammock again once it cools down a little bit.

Unfortunately, she's not a natural ginger. She got her hair colored red last winter and hated it. So, she tried to get it back to her natural color, but it still has some red in the right light. The attitude, however, is all there. I feel sorry for the thru-hiker we shared a campsite with on the second night. He must have thought he was in the middle of a Sopranos episode with the language my wife was spewing in the middle of the night.

    Thanks for all the responses.

(I don't know what kind of monkey that is in my avatar. I saw the picture and loved it too.)
Why can't I control the faces I make when I play my banjo?
