    With the hammock pitched, but not yet prestretched, I like the center (and lowest point) to be the height of my beltbuckle or slightly above.

    Its hard to tell how much sag is going to happen... Like you when I start out I can barely get my butt up over the edge its so high. But after I lay in it, its down nice and low...

    Hurt ankles suck. I broke mine 18 months ago and its not ever going to be as good as it was before hand. I'm still doing physiotherapy exercises every day for it.

    I broke one of mine over 10 years ago, and it has hurt everyday since. I am starting to get use to it. I am not sure what caused my current ankle injury, but it is pretty much healed now after almost a year.

    I never did any physical therapy, and I have a bone spur. That should make you feel a bit better.
