that is great.thanks for posting it.i have been gathering materials to make my goddaughter a hammock.she is 5.i have bright purple sil for the tarp,silver ripstop for the hammock and am thinking of two layering it with pink fleece,camo if i can find it.i also got some pink netting.
i like the pink grossgrain,nice touch.i hope my work turns out as nice as yours.

Thanks again. We are planning on camping this weekend and I can't wait to see all of them together and get some usage out of them. I worked too hard on these to just leave them in their stuff sacks any longer.
My youngest daughter would go nuts is she saw this setup.
Just wanted to let you know that my 9 yr old with the hammock bed approves of your skills and wants you daughter to know that she is jealous of her and her colorful hammock. Her exact words were: "that's so cool!!!!!!!!".

====> Well, it WAS! Now she is older, and I have to buy stuff for her/them, but I am just glad they are still willing to go into the outdoors with Dad! My youngest, the Ewok, was tired of always carrying several water bottles/Nalgenes, so I got her a good Camelback backpack. Much better!
