    Looking for Pink Camo ripstop

My daughter and I went camping this weekend, actually just got home, but over the weekend she told me she wanted a hammock. The tent was to hot and I do agree the temp here is over 100 during the day low 80s @ night, anyway I'll post some pics and report later, right now I need to find some Pink camo ripstop, doesn't have to be silnylon. I would appreciate any input on who my carry something like this. I'll start looking around here tomorrow..
Thanks for the help in advance. ETH

This is a little bit heavy if their weights are true. Polyester pink camo.

Grand trunk sells a PINK hammock (& other Pink stuff), no bug netting & it's not camo, but: "Grand Trunk will donate 5% of the gross sales of this line of products to Save the Ta-Tas to support breast cancer research."

So, She gets a neat hammock & You donate a few $$$ to cancer research.

I have 3 Grand trunk Hammocks, they are a good product.

I've been looking for pink camo ripstop nylon for years now for my girls. I haven't been able to find any.

If it is truly 3.4oz/yd as cited on the Rockywoods site, it should be more than strong enough. I use 1.9oz/yd (single layer) nylon ripstop from Speers for my diy. I weigh 200# (though sadly I should be 180# ). Many here use single or double layers of 1.1oz/yd or 1.7oz/yd.

Given that that pink camo fabric is polyester, it shouldn't stretch as much as nylon either.

BUT....understand I have not ordered, held or used this particular fabric. Just going by weight and expectation. You can order a sample for $0.50.

I have seen "butterfly camo" before at wal-mart. it looks like camo from afar, but it's butterflies when you get up close. If I remember correctly, it was ripstop something. I know, I'm a lot a help

Are you absolutely set on ripstop? I have found I like the polyester/nylon taffeta much better for a hammock body, less stretch and more comfortable on the skin to me. On top of that you can find these with a myriad of patterns on them, even stores like Joann's seems stock a lot more of those than ripstop. I made one for my daughter with hearts all over it and I can tell you the fabric holds me with no problem.
