Yes, the peaks are filled with snow, although there was a lot that melted today. It's cool. I'm excited for this trip!!

FWIW, I have created a route map for our upcoming trip using a digital topographic map program. I am willing to share it with those that might be interested.
I have used the proper USGS Calloway Butte Quadrangle as the base map. I have added a highlighted route which traces FR 81 and FR 81E to the Maxwell #37 Trail Head. I have also annotated the map to indicate Forest Road numbers according to the USFS Coconino map. The total distance from FH-3 to the Maxwell #37 Trail Head via FR 81 and 81E is ~9.0 miles.
The finished map prints out as a nice sized 11"x17" document with easy to read formatting and lat/long coordinates in the margin. I have also added an insert box with True North and Magnetic north indications.
The map is in .pdf format with a file size of ~975 KB. If there is an interest, please just send me a PM with an e-mail address and I will be happy to forward a copy to anyone desiring an annotated topographic map.
If you request a map from me, just for insurance, please also rely on your own map-work as the final authority on the route you select. I am going to try to run the route this weekend if possible. If I can do so, I will provide photos/feedback on road conditions.
PM sent. I'd love to find out road conditions if you can make it out.

I have sent maps to all of those who have provided e-mail addresses.
Lowclass, I will need your e-mail or other guidance from you on how to transmit.
OK, all of the map requests received so far have been met. I noticed that I also included the track coordinates as pages 2-3 behind the map. If you can make use of these, great. If not, just disregard them.
I would like a map my email address is [email protected] thanks I will be riding up with Gnome 77. Was out looking at new hammocks today and spotted a few at Sportmans pretty cool not sure if it is the best first hammock for me. I have some time to look around! Thanks a bunch!
Looking at the area on google earth it looks like a car will have no problems until possible the last 9ish miles. I hope longbow will be able to scout that for me this weekend. I didnt realize how far away this place is. I'll probably be leaving from prescott vs phoenix on friday but I'm wondering if we should have a meet up spot in payson and we could carpool the rest of the way? Are most people planning on arriving friday and staying through sunday?
