I will be attending one of the BSA Sea Base adventures in August. Wondering if anyone here has been on one recently. In particular, am wondering if a hammock is permitted on the ship. SEA EXPLORING (Keys Tall Ship) is the specific adventure.

At the bottom of that site is a link for "contact"
e-mail them and ask them if you can use a hammock
I don't know about aboard ship but we sent some guys down there last summer and one leader used his hammock on the Island Adventure.

No....hammocks are not allowed on the ships...the only place they are is on our Out Island adveture to our deserted island. If you have any Sea Base questions feel free to ask me...this is my 3rd season workin here....I'm currently at the south base near Key West......have fun on your adventure!!!!!
