    Hello from Kentucky!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone on here, and thank you! I've been reading through the threads for the past couple weeks, and have gotten a lot of great ideas here. A special shout out to Shug, "Whooooooo Buddy!", thanks for the videos! Keep 'em coming!

I just finished my first DIY project... Tarp. I posted a few pics of it in the gallery. Here are the links.

I made it out of waterproof 100% nylon material. The label said it was for jackets, I think. I made the stuff sack out of the same material, from the 8" strip I had left over. I plan to add some pull-outs to it, just haven't quite figured it out/wanted to do it yet.

Check out the pics, and let me know what you think. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, especially since I spent about $24 on it...

Welcome fellow Kentuckian. Very nice looking tarp. What size?

Looking at pics again I see sizing. 11.5 x 8.75. You'll like the coverage. Again very nice.

Nice looking tarp! I just joined too and I'm from Kentucky too (Lexington). Where did you find your supplies? I'm scouring the two walmarts in the area tomorrow for nylon.

Welcome! Vary nice looking tarp you have there. Lots of great places to use it in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I'm hoping to be camping in The Land Between the Lakes in western KY next weekend.
