National Hammock Day

Hey, did you know July 22 is Hammock day? I didnt until a friend told me! Googled it and sure enough it is! We should run with this for next year and plan some hangs!

Interesting.

When I was a kid, I used to ask my folks why there was a "mother's day" and a "father's day" but no "children's day"? The response, "Every day is children's day."

I'm glad hammocks have earned an official day, and I'll celebrate it year round using my parent's logic that EVERY DAY IS HAMMOCK DAY.

When you're a kid don't you just assume all adults somehow know each other or can speak to each other with ESP?

Perhaps that is why they always seemed to catch me when I was up to no good... or maybe that is why I assumed they knew everything and would ask them the craziest things

HA! I just saw this thread and it dawned on me I slept in my hammock that night in the front yard!
