I will say that they will work great with most KAQ's The Potomac would not gain anything and due to the length the "long" size in the new River and XL New Rivers would not benefit but the Lost River and regular length New Rivers preform much better with them than without. As well I believe there are several other UQ's available that would be suitable for use with them.

Would these be effective on NON-differentially cut quilts? It seems like the upward pull might tend to compress the down on these types of quilts.

Clearly not an issue with differentially cut quilts (which all my future quilts will be; but for now I'm stuck with several otherwise great non-differential quilts).

I think that would depend on how tight you tried to tension the quilt with the Triangles suspension, I tested non differential a down quilt with them just fine recently and felt that it still lofted normally and was not an issue. But I have not tested every quilt on the market so.......I can't provide a 100% on how it will work with a particular quilt. That being said I don't see any reason why they would not work fine, But all you need for tension on them is snug---not tight, snug

I got it! For us dummies, including myself that didnt get it at first- go back to Paul's first post and click on the pictures under the underlined "Here Is the thread" link. it shows pics of the triangles at work. Ok. it moves the connecting points closer together and makes alot of sense in keeping the UQ "up" more and reduces the chances of the UQ sliding off the feet/shoulders.

What are the dimensions/sizes for the triangle thingies? They look pretty interesting.

The ones for full length quilts are 11" on all three sides
The ones for a partial length quilt will have the same 11" for the head and the foot will be 14" on the two long sides with 11" at the foot of the triangle--the part pointed at you when laying in the hammock.

Playing a gig at a local bar tonight, so I took a 1/2 day at work. So really what could top that? A package from Paul at AHE! With my UQ Triangle Thingies.

I pulled them out, and thanks to the 1/2 day off, I had time to test them out. And before Gargoyle gets on me I HAVE PICTURES! As always excelent craftmanship from Paul!

I may however humbly suggest a name change - "The UQ G-Strings" I friend of mine said she thought thats what they were, and was wondering why I was so excited about womens underwear.

Has anyone tried these on their Molly Mac Gear IX UQ?

looking at the pics... the location of the attachment if it was done the old way vs using the triangles... only a few inches... does it really make that much of a difference in reducing slippage of the UQ? seems the angle would have to be smaller, but hey, Im not the math expert.
