    Exclamation Seeking cooler weather!

I'm up late thinking about a spur-of-the-moment mission for some altitude and cooler weather. So, to my fellow insomniacs and early risers, where is the best destination for a literal COOL hang tomorrow night? I'm in SC and it's a been a steady week of mid-90's . I'm thinking Bob Bald in Joyce Kilmer. Please, HELP!!!

Where ever you go, don't come my way!! Yesterday afternoon with the heat index, it was 105, Elizabethtown posted 112 for the same time. The actual temp was 95 here but the humidy really messes you up.

I'm not from SC but up here in VA been wondering the same thing. Heat index for today is close to 113, tomorrow, 107. It's been the hottest June on record here.

And it does not get any better if you go further north. Southern PA were expecting another day with the heat index at 105. Fly to Seattle, perhaps?

Saw on Whiteblaze someone's thermometer was at 102 in Grayson Highlands Yesterday. This heat needs to move along so I can get back to Mount Rogers and the highlands.
Not the guy to ask for Directions.

It looks like roan mountain is at least in mid to high 60's at night right now, mid to high 80's day and 30 percent chance of rain. That seems like the best I can find in the area if you have to go this weekend.

I like air conditioning my self.

you could always come down to Louisiana for a day or two, it wouldn't be any cooler but it WOULD make everywhere else in the known univers seem so by comparison
