I have been looking for threads about hangouts in either Tennessee or in the Memphis area, however, I havent found much that has not already occurred.

Is anyone in my area or are there any already planned hangouts?

Hey, I'm also in Memphis and I'd love to catch wind of any upcoming trip in this area. Big Hill Pond is a cool little spot; I've been to the park many times over the last few years and while growing up, but I've still never actually been to go see the actual factual Big Hill Pond there.

If it's close to Memphis, I'm there. My brother works for Fedex there, and wants me to visit.

yep that the place. that really would be a good spot for a gathering. some of the other places that come to mind are, umm, less that desirable. it was quiet enough last time I went that we might be able to have a little area to ourselves. If someone would be willing to plan I would play along.

It would make for an excellent short backpack, for sure. Wonder how it would be for a group car camp?

shelby forest wood be good, i tent camped there a long time ago. i dont know why but ive always wanted to guerrilla camp in shelby farms.

Shelby Forrest would be great for a car camping hang. Little coves that make the camp spot are nice.
