Definetly, the only thing is that I'm not quite happy with the rig I work on. It's a badass bulky table full of clamps. I think next time I will try not spreading the thing at all when I work on it but instead just leave the entire thing as a single large clew. Spacing the knots by the eye is easier than I thought and that way I could just attach one end on a hook and leave everything hanging. For now at least I can use my brother's bedroom, he moved out of the house two years ago and has no idea what's going on if he gets home for the weekend Haha!
Another idea: Maybe I'll try knitting a hammock next time. Simply grab two broomsticks or equivalent and get done with it in two long evenings or so. It wouldn't require any loose strands, instead I could work right of the spool!
