Are you in the airport now? At least you have something to look forward to when you get home. Have a safe flight.
Yes, I'm in the airport...on my way out to visit family in Vancouver, WA. I had my new tarp shipped there...my step-brother and I are going to be doing a lot of camping while I'm out there. I made several purchases and had them sent ahead.

Great piece of gear you got waiting for ya. Have fun with your bro and safe travles.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
Well, I finally made it out to Vancouver! I arrived last night, to find several packages waiting for me--including the MacCat deluxe. Wasn't able to try it out last night, but I tested my new suspension from AHE this morning and the OES tarp tonight as it was starting to get dark. Unfortunately, the only two trees at my step-siblings' duplex close enough together for testing purposes had a dangerous spiky stump right beneath everything...so I really couldn't test it out by setting everything up...and actually HANGING...I might of gotten hurt...or, even worse, damaged my new gear!
I've posted some quick shots of the tarp. The hang is less than perfect, as it was getting dark and I was tired of working around that stump...but you get the idea. I'm gonna be very happy, methinks! Thanks, Brian, for all the help and the quick service!
I think tomorrow I'm going to try the ridgeline both under and over to see which I like better.

Tarp looks good. The pugel sticks in the ground, not so much.
All this time you had waiting for that tarp and you didnt clear the hang location..
Enjoy your new tarp.
