    Question Jungle Hammock ordered! Yeaaah!

I just completed the payment transaction for my new Jungle Hammock – camo version of course
I love it already and can’t wait for it to arrive!

Any suggestions in regards to the suspension? I’ve read a lot of negative comments on the stock suspension, but also a few positive ones from users who are not having any problems with rain running into the hammocks.

This is my first hammock, so any suggestions is much appreciated!

I would go for some whoopie slings, but if you dont care about weight/bulk - webbing almost can´t be beat for ease of setup(possible paired up with some dutchclips)

The suspension isn't that bad, but I would also agree with a whoopie sling conversion. I'm trying to talk my wife into converting her deep jungle to WSs.

I swapped out the stock straps for wider ones. The stock straps were kind of narrow and I think they might have hurt the trees. I've not jumped on the whoopie sling bandwagon, but they seem to get raves, so...

I'm not a big modifier of my hammock, so I'm afraid that's my only advice. That and have a Danish-- I assume they taste better in Denmark.

    I almost forgot...

Have some Carlsberg beer-- great stuff, that.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm keeping the stock suspension at least for now - hopefully I'll get to see and test other suspensions at future hangs.

In regards to eating danish and drinking Carlsberg, I'll skip the danish and go straight to the Carlsberg
Oddly enough we don't call it danish here, but we do have plenty of food named after other countries though

Yeah - translated directly, we call it "Vienna bread"(please pass me the beer instead ). A hammock translated directly means (danish to english) "hanging bunk"....... Go figure

I changed mine out to whoopie slings/tree hugger combo sent to me by opie. Can't go wrong with that. For my tarp I have recently went with the "over the tarp ridgeline with prussiks" configuration. I love my setup. Happy hangin

Those whoopie slings really get the thumbs up from a lot of users. I might just try them out.

    Thanks for the response
