    Traveler & Bug Net questions??

Once the Traveler and Bug Net are initially set up can you stuff them together in a "BlackBishop" style bag? Will you be able to more or less just hang the hammock/bug net combo the next time with minimal fuss?

The Bug Net looks to completely surround the hammock. True or incorrect?

Yes, it completely surrounds the Traveler. And yes, they can both be stuffed into a BishopBag easily...

The new Traveler hammock with it's curved zipper is very nice. Provided that the hammock is at chair height or higher, the netting never touches the ground.

    Thanks for the info.

Another question: Would soaking the bug net in Sawyer reduce or eliminate any mosquitoes from following you as you enter the set up? I spray the BB hammock body (sl 1.1). Maybe a bit of vapor drift hits the netting. Try to enter and exit quickly. No mossies have made it into the BB with me. Trying to avoid the annoying experience from the ground dwelling days of the few infiltrating mosquitoes into the tent that end up being a pest.

    Yes!
I have camped in noseeum territory with and without netting that had been treated. The little ers can get through the netting if given enough time. The Premethrin significantly shortens that time.

Permethrin is more of an 'on contact' pesticide. They would have to land on the netting to be affected.

It won't hurt the netting to apply it, though.

If I treat my WBBB with Permethrin, will it damage the material at all?

I have a hammock that I've had since 2007 and has been treated since purchase; no damage from the Permethrin at this point.
