I never have to get up and go unless the weather is cold. No matter the weather, I tend to wake a couple times a night.

diphenhydramine, the main ingredient in Benadryl, has been marketed as a sleep aid - go to your local drug store and compare the ingredients in Benadryl to the over-the-counter sleeping aids - they both contain diphenhydramine. The funny thing is that the “sleep aid” version usually cost more than the hay fever version of the drug. I first noticed this a few years ago. I don't know when they started to do it but I suspect it probably was around time the non-drowsy antihistamines became non-prescription.

Any sleep aid – prescription or non-prescription, leaves me groggy in the morning for about an hour after I get up. Staying in bed an extra hour doesn’t help.

No, it is not a video of the thought that just poped up in your mind.

If something wakes me up I can't go back to sleep until I water the bushes. Normally I make it through the night just fine.

I'm with Grizz, the last itme out in the backyard, I had to go more than I do when I'm in the house. Good thing the neighbors were asleep.

I used to have to get up every night... until I started using Breathe Right Nasal Strips. Now I sleep through the night, most of the time.

If you are going more than regular .... then your system senses stress.... most common is cold... most common culpret for the hammocker is the bottom..... one you are adequately insulated and near regular comfort the extra trips should stop....
