    Thumbs up Got Mine

...Deluxe in Black today in the mail.

    Beautiful craftsmanship, stitching, etc.

And holy cow! I can't believe how slippery silnylon is...

I can't wait to use it this weekend.

I received my MacCat Ultra Monday. I have only had time to hang it indoors to tie on guy lines and put it in snakeskins.

No snakeskins for me yet...when I get out of summer time and trips and all, I'll take the time to make some, or I'll get really lazy and just buy some.

It took me a long time to decide between black and grey...silly I guess, but I thought black would let me sleep longer in the mornings and give better shade in the day. I may be wrong, but that was my reasoning anyway.

I strung it up between the hooks in my office (where I hang my ENO DN to relax at lunchtime) to take a look and it's just beautiful.

Long tapering tubes of fabric that sit gathered on the ropes at each end of the hammock. To stow the hammock you just slide the tubes toward one another and the hammock can be stuffed inside.

It's another stuff sack / stow method.

ok i'm jealous of the black but do realize that in a stealthing situation a large black blip is more easily detected by the human eye than a grey or even white blip on the screen
