Ok, if you park at Old Conley, you'll find faint trail over the berm and down to
that camp on Rockjock. It's only 2 to 3 hundred feet. Shug, Mac and some of the guys hung there last October on the first night.

Bluejay falls is at the bottom of that section and may have water flowing. It usually has at least a trickle in the driest of times.

The sign was there last weekend, and BJ Falls was down to a trickle when we first arrived. There was one steady stream about the size of a pencil lead coming off the moss. We had lunch just past the "falls" and by the time we left, BJ Falls had turned into BJ Drips. There wasn't a single steady flowing trickle on the entire rock face...just individual drops of water coming off the moss. I rigged up a line between some tree roots and suspended a bag to catch water, which we filtered. We collected about 1 liter every 10 mins using several of the drips.

Just got a used Garmin eTrex Vista C and uploaded the way points and routes from Linville Gorge site to it. I'm getting stoked about going tomorrow. Any hammockers going to be down there this weekend?
