    New Yorker here

I just realized how nice it's going to be Sat and am taking an impromptu trip. I figured I'd like to get a hammock instead of a tent and enjoy.

We'll see how it goes, I'm sure I'll love it.

Well a big old NC welcome to the right place for hanging between trees!

Have you had the chance to sit and watch Shug's Video Intro to hammock camping? Well I highly reccmd it as a good place to start!

    Welcome from New Jersey....

Just had my first extended hang (5 nights) at Forestburg Scout Reservation in Forestburg NY. Took 29 Boy Scouts up for the week (Assistant Scoutmaster Troop 59). It was great. I wont tent again.

    Enjoy your trip.....

If I can sleep in a hammock, I don't see why I'd ever tent again. We'll see.

Hey thanks. I'm going solo unless I can find someone that can just get up and go. I've asked no takers so far.

Byer mosquito hammock. If I like this I'll go in for a lot more money.

I intend to bring my camera. If it goes as planned I definitely will.
