    mini whoopie slings

I was wondering if anyone has tried mini whoopie slings as guy lines for the tarp. I made one out of 1.75mm zing it. It cinches down to 20cm and opens up to 1m. It sees to bite down on its self very good hear at home. Haven't had time to go out and try it on the tarp. Any thoughts about the idea?

I use UCRs on my ridge line and on some of my tarp lines, works great, tarp line tension can be adjusted from under the tarp.
    Good luck,

You might have better luck using UCRs, you may have a hard time releasing the tension on a whoopie when you pull it taught. Either way let us know how it works out!

I made a whole bunch of them for my tarp ,( more because I love splicing ) I put them on my tarp and the fisrt night it rained on them and got pretty cold ,I had a heck of a time trying to adjust them ,now I just go with 1/8 bungee loops cord and straight line ,I basically just marlin spike them around the stake ,works great
