    For casual lounging, ENOs rock,
Got a good laugh at this as I just came in from doing some serious "casual lounging" in my Eno Double Nest.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

I'm a big guy (54-inch chest) and I found it almost impossible to sleep diagonal in a Singlenest. My left should simply hung off the edge. I'll stick with my Doublenest.

I have my Doublenest on a Byer hammock stand in my spare room. I lounge in it pretty much every day.

    Bearpaw, Byer

I have one of those Byer of Maine stands on order, the steel one, Vario or something. It expands to 147 inches in length--I know an extender by Byer is available that'd make it 180 inches in length (adds 33 inches). You think it'd be better with the extension? How well does your ENO fit as you have it set up? Thanks.

I have the same stand. For my ENO, I find I don't need the extender. My ENO is modified with SMC descender rings instead of the carabiners, so the rings fit perfectly in the spurs of the stand. I pull the middle of the stand all the way in, and then move it apart one notch. (You'll see one open slot in the silver extension bar and the next two are aligned and joined with the screws provided. This gives just the right amount of distance for me to get an optimal diagonal lay in my DoubleNest. You may need to tweak this for a SingleNest and personal taste, but it is a good starting point.

I still hang on to the extender and like it for the occasions when I set up my Warbonnet on it outdoors.

Thanks, Bear. So, wait, I have hennseys, too. And for hanging WBB and HHs and tarp play outdoors, then you would recommend the extender? (Thanks for yuor explanation of how to hang the ENO, BTW).

I can get the right amount of sag easier with extender for my WB. I have to use the webbing no matter what because my Blackbird is shorter. The ENO is longer, and it just happens that I can hang it directly on the rings without any webbing.

I gotta agree with Cannibal & Hawk-eye, the Doublenest is the best choice. Like Bearpaw said, you just can't get a good diagonal lay in a singlenest.

I have used both, I can't help but love my double. The excess fabric on the sides doesn't bother me one bit. I sit sideways in my ALOT to read or just chill, and the excess fabric makes a good head-rest... Quite a sophisticated "rocking-chair"
