    FNG, checking in

Whats up hammock people, looking forward to joining the ranks! My lady and I got our Claytor Expeds for an upcoming trip to Maine this week, pretty excited about them. I've had 'em hanging for a few days, got a good rain test yesterday. Gonna have to change the suspension before having to rely on them, got rain running down the straps and absorbing into the nylon of the hammock. Got some ideas of my own to mix with some stuff I've already learned here, feeling optimistic about drying the system up!

Congrats on a nice hammock choice. Solving the drip problem should easy enough and you'll be ready for a great trip.

Welcome to you glad you decided to join us. To stop rain from running down your suspension. Simply drape a strip of cloth, a old sock, or a short piece in line over it and your running water problem will be cured.

Welcome! As far as drips go, Poppa hit the nail on the head. You could even run a piece of string from your line into your water bottle and collect some water like that.

====> WELCOME! I have even used a plastic "tie" like you get on a loaf of bread, clipped on the suspension line!
