Hello,
I had back surgery a few years ago and have sleep apnea. My doctor suggested that I look into getting a hammock as it might help relieve my pain and help out with the sleep apnea. So I find myself browsing the internet and finding a variety of types, brands and opinions... most of which seem to differ. So I come here, hoping that someone would have some advice. So my stats:
I am 6'3" tall and weigh 390 pounds(think offensive lineman).
I not claustrophobic and will be using the Hammock primarily indoors as an every night bed. I have a room that can be used as a part-time hammock room measuring 20 feet by 15 feet, but it is also the family room so a large stand is not feasible but two independent stands/poles that could be stored in a closet or mounted/hidden somehow would be fine.
What I'm looking for are idea's on the type of hammock that would be possible for a man of my size as well as one that will comfortably sleep an individual every night. I also need to know how on earth I am going to hang the thing so that I will not crush my twin children or any of the pets! Any info or direction you could point me in would be greatly appreciated!
