Tarps, and more tarps which to pick ?

OK I have a superfly comming, but would like to get a lightweight tarp for summer use when the weather is just oh so nice...
Im looking at the mac cat tarps, but being a noob I was wondering which size to get,, They have 4 sizes.. The micro ( which is probily too small) the standard, the deluxe, and last but not least the ultra...
Wow; choices choices, Now just to cap off I have a superfly, and want smaller summer tarp. I was hoping someone that has a mac cat could give me some insight.
Thanks for the help all of you... The tiredhiker (Shane)

i think you'll want to stay away from the ultra as it'll be darn close to your superfly. i'd look towards the standard or deluxe. i have the deluxe, which is a tad wider than the standard and allows for a bit of laziness/user error on my part. some of the better tarpers, i think jeff maybe, can get away with the micro

I just looked at that Micro, I would hang with it. But if you want to go a little larger the standard would probably do ya. I have one of the original Mac Cat tarps when he first started making them and my wife is still using it on her hammock. Brian does great work.

For summer use either the Micro or the Standard should do you just fine! You might want to factor in what the weather is usually like where you live/hike, for instance if you experience very little too no rain in summer the micro should be perfect, if you have a decent amount of rain's with some nasty blowing rain occasionally the standard might be a better fit!?!?
Like Swoosh said I would sway from the Ultra as the size is about the same as your current one!

I just ordered the Deluxe so I could have a few less tieouts. Right now I'm using a Speer Winter Tarp, which is similar to your current tarp, and wanted something with only 4 (instead of 8) tieouts but still plenty of coverage for less than ideal weather.
oldgringo's reply to my worrying about owning extra hammocks:

How many pairs of underwear do you own? Do you refer to them as "extras", simply because you're not wearing all of them as we speak?
