I'm wondering if it will be too hard on the adjustable webbing using eye bolts? Seems like a lot of pressure on such a small surface. I may need to call and find out.
What kind of stand are you making?

I just put an order in for a 1.1 DBL BB. Already got a Clark Ultralight on the way, but they have a pretty good return policy, that is if the BB is the head-to-head winner. I simply cannot keep both of 'em (got more buying power than cash right now).

Globetruck, it won't let me access it to put a link here. Type in homemade hammock stand on google, go to images. It's the pic with the hammockforums.net address. I'm done except for the braces. I'll finish those up tomorrow.

I would have went with these if I'd seen them before I started.

I think what's worse than no trees in your yard...is one tree in your yard. No matter how many times I walk around it, I can't find a place to hang the other end of the hammock.

Unfortunately, those stands are no longer available. I've been trying to find those bracket for the past couple of weeks. Back to the drawing board!
